Le Corbusier at 24 NC : living space, creative space
From November 4, 2019 to February 4, 2022
Apartment-Studio of Le Corbusier
© FLC/ADAGP
Through some twenty photographs by Peter Willi and Albin Salaün, this exhibition recreates the original atmosphere of the apartment-studio, a space of duality: both a place of daily life, shared by Le Corbusier, his wife Yvonne and his dog Pinceau, and a space for pictorial, sculptural and literary creations.
It is a symbolic place, illustrating both Le Corbusier and Charles-Edouard. This selection of photographs, from 1934 to 1965, attempts to revive the memory of the place as much as the presence of Le Corbusier.
