Living in the La Roche and Jeanneret houses in the 1920s

Exhibition

Photographic exhibition

Until 21st December 2024

The Fondation Le Corbusier presents an exhibition of photographs from its archives at the Maison La Roche.

It reveals the purist house in the late 1920s, as it was inhabited by its commissioner Raoul La Roche, a wealthy banker and art collector.

A diaporama also shows the interiors of the Maison Jeanneret, next door to the Maison La Roche, designed for Le Corbusier’s brother and his family.

The photographs on show are those commissioned by Le Corbusier from photographers Charles Gérard (1925) and Fred Boissonnas (1926).
